Thoughts for the day

When you're introduced to a new business client is it unprofessional to reply, 'Cool, you've got the same name as my dog'? At least for once his name didn't fly out of my head the very second after it went in.

Also, someone put a very disturbing notion into my head today. Can the internet get full?

That's all I've got time for today, carry on.

  2. (sigh) If only... Sadly my career path collides me with the Codys of the world and not so much the Strummers.

  3. I havent met any Skye's yet. If I do, I would expect them to be a bit excitable, grouchy and that they wouldn't play well with others.
They would also have bouts of wanting to just do their own thing mixed in with pure genius.
    :)

  4. Hmmm, along those lines I guess I'm lucky that I have yet to meet a Lola. Pure 100% Diva Bitch. O.k., maybe I have met plenty of Lola's.

  5. Nah, the INternet's not likely to fill up. See, when you look at a page, most of it is empty, and all that empty stuff they just suck off and throw away, so it's only the dark parts of the letters and things like that that get saved. So the Internet LOOKS big but really it's pretty tiny. Plus if they run out of disk space, they just start shooting the data around in the air via wifi, so at any point in tme about a 3rd of the data isn't anywhere at all, it's just out in the air between points.

    You're welcome.

  6. Wow, the thought of my agility videos shooting around in the wifi-sphere is weirding out my brain. All that freaky technology just to preserve video of a dog running over a plank a million times. What will they think up next?

  7. I'm thinking that next will be virtual virtual storage: Storage that doesn't actually exist anywhere.
