Evil Jumpers Course

This course from the Cattle Dog Nationals was set up for run throughs at Biscuit Eaters this week and it was evil. I had a lesson with Joy on this course and when I get more time I'll go into an analysis but for now you can plot your own strategies.

  1. Yikes! That's heinous! I think I'm going to suggest we train on it at PBH!

  2. Wow. Looks tough. On the other hand, I'm the sort of person that hates looking at courses on paper most of the time because they almost never handle the way one might guess from looking at the page. At least--that's true for me. But it does look like it would be a fun one to set up sometime. I'm saving a copy for future reference.

Could be that it just ran a lot differently than it looks on paper but I think it looks like a fun course with a lot of flow.
Most of the AKC trials here in the SE don't have any flow and have only one challenge which is put all the jumps really close together and then put an off course just as close as possible whenever possible. Those are really yucky :-(
