I left just past 3:00 which I though was plenty early but I still hit traffic in both Denver & Colorado Springs. Traffic heading the opposite way was horrendous but I lucked out somehow and it wasn't so bad in my direction. It only took 15-20 minutes longer than it should have and I only had to take a couple of hours vacation time.

Don't know if I'm going to actually go to Nationals this year but it's always fun to qualify and know that you could if you wanted to.Elaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02734583197185810124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11345288.post-81398377611714045922007-05-23T19:34:00.000-06:002007-05-23T19:34:00.000-06:00Congrats on your assorted Qs and placements. Always feels good to get that Grand Prix requirement out of the way.

I always prefer going Friday if I can afford the day off and the hotel bill--but usually I can't. (Friday off because leaving here between 3 pm and 8pm means sitting in awful traffic for an extra hour.) I feel the same way you do; seems to me that on saturdays after getting up at 4 a.m.--which I do often--I just don't have the energy I need.

-ellenElfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01827436807468320435noreply@blogger.com
